A Big Welcome from the Home Manager…
Welcome to Rosewood House. Located in the heart of Leicester, Rosewood House is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children with emotional, social, and behaviours that challenge, who are unable to live with their families. Our goal is to create a warm, family-like atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued, and understood.
We understand that children coming into our care have diverse and complex backgrounds. Some may be at risk of absconding, facing issues related to sexual exploitation, or displaying offending behaviours. Others may struggle with non-engagement in education or self-harming tendencies. Many of our children have experienced significant trauma, including physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. Our home will most often be their first stable placement or follows multiple placement breakdowns or failed foster and adoption attempts.
As we embark on this journey, our dedicated team is focused on building strong, trusting relationships with our children, their families, and the wider community. Our mission is to create positive, lasting change in the lives of the children we serve, fostering resilience, growth, and a brighter future for each one of them.
We look forward to working closely with placing authorities, external agencies, and other partners to provide exceptional care and support and stability for children in need.

Modern Facilities
Rosewood House has been thoughtfully modernised to meet the needs of the children we care for. Our home spans two stories, featuring a range of facilities designed to promote comfort, safety, and well-being.
On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen where children can engage in cooking activities, fostering independence and life skills. The utility room ensures practical needs are met, helping to maintain a tidy living environment. The combined open plan lounge and dining room provides a welcoming space for relaxation, play, and communal meals, encouraging social interaction and bonding among residents. Additionally, the manager’s office ensures effective management and oversight of the home, while a communal toilet is accessible for all residents.
The first floor is designed for the children’s private space, featuring three individual bedrooms, each furnished to a high standard for comfort and privacy. A staff bedroom that doubles as an office ensures that staff are readily available for support and supervision, while a bathroom with modern facilities promotes hygiene and personal care for the children.
Outside, our property features a large back garden designed for exploration and play. This outdoor space includes a quiet area with an arbor, perfect for relaxation and reflection, alongside vegetable plots that encourage children to engage with nature and learn about growing food. For active play and physical exercise, there is a trampoline, and outdoor dining furniture allows for al fresco meals and gatherings in a safe environment.
